Motor classics to delight dad
More than 1,000 vintage cars will be on display in the grounds of Harewood House, near Leeds, tomorrow for the annual Father’s Day Classic Car and Motor Show.
Spectators at the event, sponsored by the Yorkshire Post, will also get the chance to see the Breitling Wingwalkers who will take to the skies to perform an acrobatic routine while strapped to the wings of a 1940s Boeing Stearman biplane at speeds of up to 150mph as the aircraft loops, rolls and stalls.
The event has a vintage theme for the first time, with an opportunity to hunt for fashions and homeware at a vintage fair. Free swing lessons will also be on offer for those who want to test their dance skills.
