Motorcyclist killed in Doncaster crash

The 20-year-old man was riding a Suzuki GSX-R motorbike towards Balby, on Broomhouse Lane, in Edlington, when he was in collision with a green Ford Fiesta, travelling in the opposite direction.

The rider, from the Doncaster area, was thrown from his bike, which continued and collided with a nearby wall.

He sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision at around 8.25pm on Sunday.

South Yorkshire Police said that, at the time of the collision, the Fiesta had just turned left on to Broomhouse Lane from Bernard Road and was travelling towards Old Edlington.
