MP aggravates Bercow
A YORKSHIRE MP has fallen foul of Commons Speaker John Bercow and warned “you’d better watch yourself”.
Leeds North West MP Greg Mulholland, who has clashed with the Speaker on previous occasions, was told off yesterday for jabbing his finger at Labour MPs after being heckled.
The Speaker saw red after Mr Mulholland shook his head at the rebuke. “I am not looking for or expecting any response from you and it isn’t for you to sit there shaking your head. You’d better watch yourself very carefully.”
Mr Bercow told him to “sit quietly and listen” to the answer to his question.
