Murder police hold two after woman’s body found in Holmfirth

Officers found the body of a 30-year-old woman at the address at Perseverance Place, Holmfirth just before midnight on Sunday.

Her family told police they were concerned she had not been seen since Christmas.

A 28-year-old man and a 29-year old woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are being held in custody.

Forensic examinations are taking place at the scene and a post mortem examination is expected to take place later this afternoon.
