Murder trial jury still to reach verdict
The jury will continue its deliberations at Leeds Crown Court next week in the trial of a defendant accused of murdering a disabled man in his home in Scarborough.
Ricky Gelardo, 29, from Darlington denies the murder of wheelchair-bound Alan Atkin, 62, whose body was found in his flat in Swan Court, Swan Hill Road, Scarborough in April five days after he was allegedly attacked.
The trial heard Gelardo , who was staying at an address in Lismore Road, Scarborough, blame the woman he was with that night for the violence.
