The family of a man murdered in Scarborough earlier this month have issued a statement paying tribute to him, saying they
cannot imagine life without him.

Loved ones of Jonathan Binns released a joint statement in which they said: “Jonathan’s untimely and tragic death has left a huge hole in our lives and we are devastated at the way he has been taken from us.

“We loved him so very much and we cannot imagine our lives without him.

“This is the most difficult
thing we have ever had to deal with and we hope that whoever did this to Jonathan is brought to justice.

“We would be grateful for privacy in order to allow us to grieve for Jonathan.”

Mr Binns died at an address in Eastborough, Scarborough, on Wednesday August 7.

Two men, who are aged 34 and 29, have been charged with his murder as well as conspiracy to commit robbery, while another two men have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
