Music of the Gurkhas comes to city

The band of the Brigade of Gurkhas is coming to Leeds Town Hall for in a military music spectacular.

They will perform ethnic Nepali folk tunes, Kazakh music and dances and military marches. During the second half of the show, five local choirs will also be appearing with the Gurkhas in a choral tribute.

The performance will include the kukri dance when dancers will perform a mock battle with razor-sharp knives. Tickets for the event on Sunday, October 24, which begins at 7.30pm, are available from the box office by calling 0113 224 3801.
