Music to help you chill

Composer Terje Isungset puts a new spin on chill-out music – by playing instruments made of ice.

The Norwegian musician was blowing cold air as he performed with a horn, hand-crafted from glacier ice, ahead of a series of performances in London.

Isungset, also one of Europe's leading percussionists, will play his composition Ice Music from January 7 to 9 at Somerset House in London as part of its New Year season. As well as the horn, he also unveiled his "iceophone" and other percussion instruments, each made from glacier ice.
