New arrests after murder of Yorkshire dad

Jordan Hill, aged 21, was stabbed to death inside his home on Southey Avenue, Longley on Thursday, March 23.

A 31-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman have both been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in police custody.

The 29-year-old man arrested yesterday (Tuesday) on suspicion of murder also remains in police custody.

Emergency services were called to Mr Hill’s flat at around 9.45pm on March 23.

He was immediately taken to hospital but died as a result of his injuries, which a post-mortem examination concluded were stab wounds.

Detectives want anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident or who may hold information about Mr Hill’s death come forward by calling 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, quoting incident number 1125 of March 23, 2017.
