New court date set for murder accused, 20

A MAN accused of the murder of a young woman who was beheaded in a knife attack in Sheffield appeared before the city’s crown court yesterday.

Aras Hussein, 20, is accused of murdering Reema Ramzan, 18.

Miss Ramzan, who was from the Darnall area of the city, suffered a fatal knife attack at a property in Herries Road on Tuesday, June 4.

Hussein, of Herries Road, is also charged with assaulting five people at Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital, where he was taken following his arrest by police.

He entered no plea and was remanded in custody.

Hussein was told he will next appear before Sheffield Crown Court in September.
