New date for Great Yorkshire horse events
Equine classes cancelled due to the Great Yorkshire Show being called off will be resceduled for next month.
The Yorkshire Agricultural Society have announced that the ridden classes, which are Horse of the Year qualifiers, will run on Tuesday August 14 at the Harrogate showground. Show director Bill Cowling said: “It obviously won’t be the same as at the Great Yorkshire, but I’m sure it will be a very positive event which will be appreciated by the many competitors.”
Deadline for new entries is Friday August 3 otherwise all original entries will stand. The public will be able to attend free of charge.
