New face arriving at railway museum

The new director of York's National Railway Museum, Steve Davies, will take up his role next month.

Mr Davies will be at his desk by February 8 – but says he wants to get a month’s experience under his belt before speaking publicly about his new role on March 8. He replaces Andrew Scott, who is currently the acting director of the NRM’s parent organisation, the National Museum of Science and Industry.
