The director of finance at St Luke's Hospice in Sheffield's, Peter Hartland, who has been acting chief executive since last autumn, has now taken up the post permanently.

Mr Hartland has lived in Sheffield for more than 20 years and previously worked in finance at both Sheffield and Leeds universities.
