New Tron stars in museum's late show

The National Media Museum has organised a special launch night for the eagerly-awaited showing of the adventure movie Tron: Legacy – which is being shown in 3D in the museum's Imax theatre.

The event starts at 7pm on Thursday, but the screening does not start until a minute past midnight on Friday.

Staff, including Louise McKenzie, pictured have made Tron-inspired costumes to wear on the night and have invited fans to do the same.

Dick Vaughan, Imax theatre manager, said: 'There is a massive buzz around the new Tron: Legacy movie and everyone at the museum is very excited that we're going to be one of the first cinemas showing it at our launch event –hence the costumes. We want as many people as possible to come along in Tron-inspired outfits.'
