Nursing student in line for award
A NURSING STUDENT from Leeds who started his own charity to help impoverished children in Kenya has been shortlisted for a scholarship award run by a national nursing charity.
Christopher Ferry, 26, from Hyde Park, Leeds, has been shortlisted for interview as a candidate for the 2012/13 Cavell Nurses’ Trust Scholarship Awards announced next month.
Mr Ferry is on the second year his adult nursing degree at the University of Leeds.
He has a degree in International Development and Politics at Leeds.
