Mrs Garbutt, 40, was found dead with head injuries in the upstairs living quarters of Melsonby Post Office, on March 23. An investigation was launched after police responded to reports of a robbery at the business in East Road.

Last month her husband appeared in court charged with her murder. He was remanded into custody and is due to appear at Teesside Crown Court in June. Police had earlier confirmed he was not attending the service.
