Officers say bus stop attacks linked

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old girl was assaulted and robbed at a Bradford bus stop.

The teenager was at the bus stop on Bell Dean Road in Allerton when four Asian men demanded that she empty her pockets.

When she refused, she was assaulted and made to hand over keys and a mobile phone before the men fled on foot.

Police believe the robbery, which happened at 10.20pm on Sunday, is linked to another in the city's Allerton area on Friday.

In the earlier incident, a 31-year-old woman was injured after she was pushed to the floor by a group of Asian men who then rummaged through her pockets and assaulted her before fleeing with a mobile phone and cash.

The woman was left with minor injuries after the attack, which happened between 9.30pm and 10pm on Charteris Road.

Three of those suspects were described as being skinny and one as chubby.

The suspects in the robbery involving the 16-year-old girl are described as four Asian men aged between 17 and 20.

Three of the four had their hooded tops pulled up.
