What was your first Job?

Working at a Vauxhall body shop in Huddersfield. In between getting high on paint fumes and cleaning spirits I used to have to walk three miles twice a day to get the sandwiches for the lads. Luckily it was only a short stint.

If you wasn’t in your present job what would you be doing?

A Top Gear presenter – You can be a big kid plus you get to test drive some phenomenal cars that the majority of people can only dream about.

What is your ideal day away from the office?

A lie-in, brunch, a round of golf, followed by an amazing dinner in one of the region’s top restaurants.

Name one person you would like dinner with and why?

Sir Richard Branson, he is an adventurous sort of chap who loves pushing the boundaries.

What was your best subject at school?

History - I enjoyed learning about the past especially the Egyptian era.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Set up my own charity foundation to support education in developing countries, travel the world to explore the ancient world, own my own weekend pad in Dubai, with a parking spot for a yacht.

What is your top time-saving tip?

Always think about the outcome of every task you do and stay focussed.

What is your favourite time of the day?

It’s got to be early morning. This is when I am most alert and full of energy and can effectively plan what I want to achieve from the day.

What’s the best thing about being in Yorkshire?

Within a short drive and some walking, you can reach some breath-taking views in the Yorkshire Dales.
