Ophelia winds batter western parts of United Kingdom as Yorkshire holds its breath

Yorkshire was waiting to see if former Hurricane Ophelia would strike the county with her full force after a day of fierce winds and storms struck Ireland and the west coast.

Former Hurricane Ophelia brought with it high winds and severe storms throughout Monday.
