THE photograph taken just last week of the Queen riding one of her fell ponies through the grounds of Windsor Great Park shows just how much horses mean to Her Majesty.

Her passion, and her hobby, they have also been the one chance for the 94-year-old, the world’s longest reigning monarch, to relax, and be herself, when off duty.

Epitomised by her very un-Royal reaction in 2013 when her filly Estimate won the prestigious Ascot Gold Cup in a pulsating finish, it is little surprise that the Queen has named this filly as one of her favourites in a rare insight into her inner-most thoughts.
