Shop local to avoid ‘Black Friday’ rip-off – The Yorkshire Post says

THE latest inquiry by consumer body Which? into ‘Black Friday’ pre-Christmas deals confirms what the more price-savvy have long suspected – most offers are, in fact, too good to be true.

This comes after the prices of more than 200 popular home and tech products were tracked over the course of 12 months. Nearly nine in 10 could be found at the same price or cheaper earlier in the year.
