Advertised
in bad faith

From: A Briggs, Leeds.

WITH reference to the article by Neil McNicholas “when advertiser’s boasts don’t come out in the wash” (The Yorkshire Post, May 31). Were you being ironic when you allowed a religious person, who relies on belief and not proof, to pen an article about unsubstantiated advertising claims?

From: Nigel Francis, Otley town councillor.

CAN you please tell me who has made such a complete mess of arranging the Tour Makers for the Grand Départ. We were told that we were “the eyes and ears of the event and our local knowledge was going to be a great help”. Why I have been asked to go to just outside York, almost 30 miles away from where I live?
