if our Prime Minister was a proper man he would have: sent in our special forces to hunt out the rogue French photographer who took those illegal shots of the Duchess of Cambridge; given us the opportunity of the referendum on our membership of the EU, which he promised before he was elected and, lastly, have pulled out all our troops from Afghanistan.

I’m sure most of us have sympathy with the Duke and Duchess regarding the publication of certain photographs.

However, at least the 
Duchess has learned an important lesson which she should remember throughout 
her life; a lesson we older 
folk have lived with for 
many years. Never trust the French!

Politicians are all in it together

“WE’RE all in this together”, 
posh boy millionaire David Cameron and even posher boy millionaire George Osborne 
tell us.

Benefits will be stopped if the unemployed refuse to work 
for no pay (typical Tory policy), the heating allowance to pensioners will be cut and incapacity benefit claimants 
will also see a reduction in payment.

But it’s nice to know that politicians’ expenses have increased greatly.

Gove’s record is unfit for purpose

MICHAEL Gove, the Education Secretary, who makes exams harder and sells off playing 
fields, should remember 
his old school motto “mens sana in corpore sano”.

I’m afraid that in this 
Olympic year I would only award him a “D”.
