Charles right to take the lead

From: Phyllis Capstick, Hellifield, Skipton, North Yorkshire.

I believe he speaks from his heart, and not his pocket, on issues that concern us all.

He is exactly what this country needs. Someone with no vested interest, who genuinely cares enough to speak the truth, and not some politically correct jargon.

WHY is the emphasis always on those with children who are struggling to manage(Yorkshire Post, August 19)? For let’s not forget that a couple on benefit gets more for their children than they do for themselves.

By all means it is the job of society to look after the most unfortunate.

But please don’t assume that it is those with children who are suffering the most, especially as they have made a lifestyle choice to have those children in the first place.
