December 3: Why Morrisons must play to its strengths

TOM Richmond of The Yorkshire Post has written several articles about Morrisons.

As a big supporter of them, I would like to add another.

My Match and More card has recently changed to a “Match and Less.” Let me explain how. In the past year, I averaged £2.20 per £100 spend.

Next year it will be 50p per £100.

Most people will see through this derisory rate, irrespective of however it is dressed up.

A 77 per cent cut in money back.

As the recently appointed CEO David Potts is reaching out to the public through the Morrisons magazine, I’d like to give him some feedback.

Joe Public is much more knowledgeable nowadays.

We used to know the price of most things and the value of very few.

Now we know the price and value of most things.

Stop faffing with cosmetics and play to the strengths of Morrisons.

These should include the excellent produce and staff 
at the meat and fish counters 
in Sheffield Hillsborough 
branch.
