Farce of sending patients to India

From: TN Coxon, West Auckland Road, Darlington.

I THINK the British public have heard it all now – sending patients to India! This country gives goodness knows how much a year in aid to India, yet we cannot afford our own costs on the NHS. Perhaps the next step in this farcical approach to healthcare in the UK will be to visit GPs in Europe.

Successive governments have failed us. Is it not now time for a change? I think so. Let’s have a government that puts the British people first.

My own opinion is that where can you get a letter delivered from any place in the country to any other place in the country for less than a pound? Surely it is good value for money, Ken?

A TRAGIC unprecedented occurrence on Bank Holiday Monday. El Cid on BBC overlapping with Ben Hur on Channel 4! In disgust, I watched neither. I can almost sympathise with those people who spend their bank holiday push-biking in the Dales or whatever.
