HOW pleasing and satisfying it was to read the letter from your correspondent Colin Cawthray of Flamborough (Yorkshire Post, August 29) regarding proper deterrent penalties for using a mobile phone whilst driving.
At last there is someone on my wavelength on this subject and willing to stand up and be counted.

ONE way to alleviate the housing building and planning situation would be to stop importing people to do the jobs our own people won’t do.
