High treason by Heath was upheld by later governments

From: Rex Poulton, Salisbury.

In 1972, Edward Heath signed the European Communities (Common Market) Act, knowingly and wilfully deceiving and betraying the British people into European rule.

His was an act of outright high treason and his government thus became an unlawful assembly. Governments cannot bind successors.

Though each successive government had the opportunity to rectify his treachery, none did. Each thus became an unlawful assembly also.

In 1992, John Major signed the Maastricht Treaty knowingly and wilfully stripping Her Majesty of her sovereignty and rendering
her and her subjects mere “citizens” of Europe. His act was ultra vires and one of outright high treason.

No law can result from treasonous acts, much less unlawful assemblies. It is struck down by our common law. Every statute, EU treaty, diktat and influence since 1972 is consequently null and void. Britain has therefore never been part of the EU and our British law stands as it was before the 1972 Act.

In consequence, those who affirm and uphold EU law, diktat or influence are openly treasonous and liable to prosecution.

IT makes a refreshing change to read the articles about the EU from Denis MacShane and Anne McIntosh (Yorkshire Post, September 18).

Such is the daily diet of virulent anti-EU propaganda from the tabloids, Ukip and rebel Tories that it is a breath of fresh air to read factually based and objective assessments of the issue.

Ms McIntosh points out that our farmers are highly dependent upon direct payments made under the CAP and without them, more than half the farms would be unprofitable.

As to banking, Mr MacShane makes the point that there is general acceptance of the
need for supranational supervision after their
disastrous performance
over recent years and who could argue with that?

In this connection, why should the City and banks object to a level playing field? If their expertise is so formidable they should have no fears in this respect.

No one knows what the
future holds but all EU supporters must hope that we do not cut adrift after so many years of
co-operation working to a common goal.

Whatever happens, let us at least have a balanced debate.

In a recent newspaper article, Liam Fox MP expressed his unhappiness about the Government. He believes that the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats are not going far enough. He represents a large section of opinion in the Conservative Party. Prime Minister Cameron is not going to take any notice of Dr Fox, who lays the nation’s woes at the door of the EU. Since they are not going to change the Conservative Party, why don’t Dr Fox and his friends defect to other parties, such as the English Democrats, which share their views?
