Letter: Grateful to kind customer who found rings

I have had an infection in between my fingers and haven’t been wearing my rings at home.

When we arrived I went to the ladies, washed my hands and forgot about my rings.

I didn’t realise while the next morning. I was very upset as one of the four rings was my Grandma’s and another was my Great Aunt’s.

This is the lovely part – a customer handed them into a staff member to put in the safe.

The White House couldn’t do enough to help and there were two messages on my answer phone on our return.

I am just so grateful to the kind person that found them. Many grateful thanks and also for a wonderful Gazette – I always buy one on my frequent visits to Whitby.
