Letters July 9: Taken for a ride over Ramadan

From: John Craven, Green Road, Baildon.

WHEN returning on Sunday from a trip to Spain to find a queue of some 30 to 40 people at Leeds Bradford International Airport waiting to get a taxi
from the designated supplier,
we were told that due to Ramadan the wait would be some 50 minutes.

This is a company who tender for a contract to a so-called international airport – what a shambles! Do I now have to organise my holidays around Muslim festivals?

The powers that be at LBA need to start addressing yet another complaint by disgruntled passengers.

I’m now I’m off to Manchester as yet another passenger totally fed up of LBA.
