Little time for street parties

From: Duncan Anderson, Mill Lane, East Halton, Immingham.

A LOT of concern has been expressed that very few street parties have been arranged for the Royal Wedding.

Isn’t this little wonder when both partners nowadays have to go to work to earn a half decent living and in a lot of cases, one partner has to travel a considerable distance to and from work, meaning early starts and late back home?

Come on Mr Cameron, think before you act in such an irresponsible manner.

One law...

From: Jack Kinsman, Stainton Drive, Grimsby.

Now that the Conservative’s answer to John Prescott has said that it is not an offence for yobs to spit at a policeman, would it be within the same law for me to go around spitting at Ken Clarke’s family and friends?

Sorry, I forgot. One law for Ken’s kin but a different law for the rest of the public. Hard luck police.
