Hospital views

THE people of Pontefract and Castleford have been urged to submit their views on the demise of hospital care facilities at the new Pontefract Hospital.
It is to be hoped that such views will form the basis of an urgent demand for a full and proper public inquiry into the ever failing Mid-Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust and the role played by the brigade of prima donna consultants at its helm.

LEEDS residents may well be disappointed over a delay to a decision on funding for their trolley bus scheme, but it is the former largest trolley bus authority in the country, Bradford, which has the most congested roads and streets in England after London and Manchester and is the 11th worst gridlocked city in Europe.
