NHS heroes deserve pay rise before teachers – Yorkshire Post Letters
NIGHTLY on TV news, medical staff, under extreme pressure, are shown in hospital wards working 12-hour shifts providing wonderful care for very sick people.
Teachers also are having to work to different protocols but to compensate for this their union is demanding financial reward before agreeing to reopen schools.

Hide AdShould there be any spare money available at the Treasury, then only one of these professions deserves monetary reward – and it is not teachers.

MORE than 15 million first dose inoculations have been given by February 15.
To go from zero last March to 15 million vaccinations in less than a year is a phenomenal achievement.
This really ought to be recognised as such. This would be a change from all the political point-scoring over recent times.
