No respect for scruffy police

I SPENT Thursday at the Great Yorkshire Show. It was, as ever, a fantastic day out . During my visit I saw a number of police officers who were scruffy, unshaven with unpressed trousers and dirty boots. What is wrong? Little wonder they are treated by many with so little respect.

IT is appalling it has taken this Government so long to get to grips with Islamic extremism in Birmingham schools.
Our politicians debate endlessly the impact of immigration on jobs and the economy, but the social and cultural impact is far more worrying.
