job roles and titles including, Health Care Support Worker, Nursing Associate, Assistant Practitioner and Health Assistant, providing care autonomously to children and adults, across a range of settings in the NHS and independent sector.

We know of frontline staff who have had to adjust to unfamiliar roles; live apart from their own family to avoid the risk of spreading the infection; and who’ve held the hand of a dying patient when, tragically, their loved ones could not be there. Their dedication and the positive difference they make to patients, service users and their families deserves to be recognised.
