Protest sympathy

From: Maxine Watt, Beeston, Leeds.

YORKSHIRE police officers have been, quite legitimately, protesting in London about cuts to pay and conditions.

They might find the rest of us more sympathetic to their cause had they and their colleagues not so willingly and enthusiastically weighed in on behalf of their political masters to break up the equally legitimate demonstrations of others.

Perhaps when they have practised in London they use this newly-discovered skill here.

That assumes that absenteeism does not increase through walking related conditions.

AFTER the recent award of £10,800,000 against an NHS Trust to a disabled child, isn’t it time that there was a cap on compensation claims?

Bless, Boris

I AGREE with Tom Richmond (Yorkshire Post, May 12). If Boris Johnson is the supposed political saviour of this country, then heaven help us.
