September 2: Don’t blame bus firms for mobile phone meance

WHILE agreeing with David Treacher’s comments (The Yorkshire Post, August 26) about widespread use of mobile phones on buses, I am puzzled as to how he expects the bus company to implement this. They have yet to address the problem of people putting their feet on the back seats.

INSTEAD of Natasha Porter arguing for a flow of funds (The Yorkshire Post, August 26) from school to college, the best pressure may need to start within low achieving students themselves – a cultural shift which takes learning as relevant before they step through the school gates.
