A special need for better MPs

From: TW Coxon, West Auckland Road, Darlington.

SPEAKER John Bercow’s ruling on unacceptable Parliamentary language – and David Cameron’s description of Ed Balls as a “muttering idiot” (Tom Richmond, Yorkshire Post, June 9) – makes one muse as to what acceptable language could be used to describe the antics of the Opposition front bench.

WITH reference to Paul Emsley’s letter (Yorkshire Post, June 6) regarding rich people driving around in expensive German cars which lack the basics, many of them also seem to lack a speedometer. Or maybe the drivers are unable to read.

Many of the drivers seem to lack basic good manners too.
