What’s wrong with bike cash?
TOM RICHMOND takes some MPs to task for claiming mileage expenses for their bicycles (The Yorkshire Post, March 22).
All the time I have been in ministry in the Church of England there has been such a system for cyclists. I’ve never made use of it myself, but it’s there, and so it should be. If a journey is made for business purposes, then its proper expenses should be met.

JUST because MPs can claim cycling expenses does not mean they should. No one is forcing them to – but it does appear some have still to learn from past mistakes.
