Would this council take away my children?

I AM a democratically-elected Ukip councillor (and thus obviously a party member) in South Tyneside. I am 30 years of age and my girlfriend is 26.

We have no children but have discussed the possibility of starting a family one day.

If we were to move to Rotherham, can I expect you to come round and take my kids away from me because of my political affiliation?

ROTHERHAM Council has just recently removed three foster children from a lovely, caring married couple because the adults are supporters of the United Kingdom Independence Party.

The council has tried to justify this appalling decision by claiming that Ukip are “racist”. That is a gross slur and totally unfounded, and heads need to roll – but will they?

IT is astounding that Rotherham Council has removed children from the care of foster parents after learning that the foster parents were members of Ukip.

Since all political parties have people with a range of views from moderate to the more extreme, surely anyone with a political view should be banned from fostering?

Rotherham Council, or maybe Rotterham as it may be more appropriate to call them, have no right to behave like this and on behalf of the children need good quality fosterers who can provide a nurturing and caring haven for kids.

Rotherham does have a 
bad reputation, it is easy to 
see why with a Labour-run council.

I am not a member of Ukip, but I do wish them every success in Rotherham which clearly needs to boot out the left who have taken the place nowhere!
