The Yorkshire Post says: Jason Liversidge's spirit of adventure is an inspiration to us all
Mr Liversidge, from Rise in East Yorkshire, will be aiming to set a new Guinness Book of World Record this week in an electric wheelchair in which he hopes to reach speeds of 100mph. He is no stranger to adventure, having already scaled Mount Snowdon and abseiled into a 110-ft chasm in the Yorkshire Dales since his diagnosis with MND in 2013. His refusal to be defined by his condition and to take on challenges that most would shirk is a testament to the defiance of the human spirit.
Despite facing extraordinary difficulties that most people couldn’t imagine, the way in which Mr Liversidge is determined to make the most of life is an example to us all.
