‘Organised dispute’ in Driffield park leads to 11 arrests

Humberside Police have arrested 11 people - some as young as 15 - after what appeared to be an “organised dispute” in Driffield on Monday night.

The arrested people, ten of whom were teenagers, have been in police custody after call to police from residents saying people had been seen in the area with weapons.

Several people reported seeing a white van park up near Northend Park at 6.45 pm with possibly up to 15 people exiting the van allegedly carrying weapons.
