Oxo mum back on TV after a decade

The 61-year-old star, who appeared in more than 40 ads, was dropped in 1999 when her Oxo family campaign came to an end.

Now Bellingham – a contestant in last year's Strictly Come Dancing – will be seen in the role once more in an ad to be screened tonight.

Viewers followed her family's antics for 16 years.

She will appear in the Great Little Ideas campaign for Premier Foods which will first air during Britain's Got Talent on ITV1.

Bellingham said: "We have decided to get together again. I was very upset when it ended 10 years ago. I am so associated with it and it has many fond memories and the time is right."

The campaign sees several well-known faces – including Leeds-born Coronation Street actress Liz Dawn, Terry Venables and Kirsty Gallacher.
