Palace sends best wishes for pupils’ just-for-fun ‘marriage’
Eleven-year-olds Courtney Mitchell and Joseph Dolan were cheered by classmates from Cottingley Primary School in Leeds as they went through out a just-for-fun wedding ahead of today’s event.
Headteacher Dianne Elson wrote to the Queen and received a letter from the Palace wishing the school all the best for the big day.
Meanwhile, children from Bucklebury Church of England Primary School in the Berkshire village where Kate Middleton grew up, sang the specially-composed Celebration Song at a playground street party yesterday. They have recorded it and sent a copy to Prince William and Miss Middleton.
