Panto bonanza! Aladdin set to be record breaker at Harrogate Theatre
A Harrogate Theatre spokespeson said ticket sales figures for this year’s festive family treat were consistently up when compared with the same period last year.
This year’s panto is the classic Aladdin story about the genie of the lamp, Wishee Washee and the evil Abanazar.

Hide AdSuch is the appeal of this mystical story inspired originally by one of the tales in The Book of One Thousand and One Nights (The Arabian Nights) and, perhaps, the enduring popularity of panto star Tim Stedman, that there is only limited availability for dates throughout the whole of December.
Even January shows are now selling fast!
Panto director and co-writer Phil Lowe said: “The set is looking fabulous, anyone who has been to Harrogate Theatre’s pantomime before will know what high standards to expect and this year will be no exception. We’re all raring to go!”
This quest for true love with slapstick, songs and magic comes with an added bonus for anyone looking to snap up the remaining seats im the next two weeks or so - anyone booking tickets for Aladdin before December 15 will be eligible for fanastic cut-price discounts on another great family-orientated sho - Paddington and The Snowman.
Tickets are available by calling Harrogate Theatre box office on 01423 502116 or book online at www.harrogatetheatre.co.uk
