Partner's link with driver who killed Briton
A British man was run over and killed by his partner's ex-husband in an accident on the Spanish island of Majorca.
Peter Davies, who was in his 60s, was in a car park in the island's
main city of Palma when the incident took place on Sunday.
He was reported to have had a good relationship with his partner's ex-husband – believed to be Spanish – and yesterday sources said police were treating the collision as accidental.
A Foreign Office spokeswoman said: "We can confirm the death of a British national, Peter Davies, in Majorca on September 19."
