Passenger seriously hurt in M62 collision near Wakefield

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision on the M62 near Wakefield left one person seriously injured.

The incident happened at 4.45pm on Saturday on the east bound carriageway between junctions 29 and 30 of the motorway near Lofthouse when a Vauxhall Zafira collided with the central reservation.

A passenger of the Zafira suffered serious injuries.　

Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting log 1214 of Saturday, September 24.
