Pedestrian '˜critical' after two-car collision in Hessle

A 34-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital after he was involved with a collision with two vehicles in East Yorkshire.

The man, a pedestrian, sustained serious injuries when he stepped into the road at Heads Lane, Hessle, and collided with a white Ford Transit van and a white Land Rover Freelander as they travelled in the direction of Ferriby Road.

He was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment where police described said he is in a “critical but stable condition”.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, which occurred at 1.45pm on Saturday, is asked to call Humberside Police on 101 quoting log 268 of 13 February 2016.
