Barn fire at Yorkshire farm after tractor blaze spreads to building

Crews from five fire stations were called after a fire broke out in Yorkshire this morning (July 6).

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said a tractor fire spread to barn, measuring around 10m by 10m, on Keighley Road in Hebden Bridge, shortly before 2.49am.

Appliances from Mytholmroyd, Halifax, Todmorden, Illingworth and Keighley attended.

A spokeswoman for the service said the tractor was being stored in the barn when it caught fire. The blaze then spread to the barn itself.

Crews left the scene at around 4.15am.
