Seven-year-old author from Robin Hood's Bay praised by astronaut Tim Peake
Hannah, from Robin Hood’s Bay, made Tim Peake a book about the solar system after becoming obsessed with the astronaut’s adventures on the International Space Station.
Mum Shelley Anderson, tweeted four pictures of the book to Mr Peake - and was stunned when he replied in a matter of moments. He said: “A fascinating read, thanks!”

His mission last six months, and he made his first ever space walk last week - but he made time to tell little Hannah how thrilled he was with her book.
Ms Anderson, 46, said: “I keep squealing, I just can’t believe he replied. It took Hannah about a week to make the book and she’s been asking every night when we can send it to Tim. I couldn’t believe it took him a matter of seconds to reply.”
She said Hannah’s fascination with Mr Peake began after watching his launch to the Space Station live in December last year.

Ms Anderson, a nurse, said: “She’s just grinning from ear to ear, and she can’t wait to tell her teachers and friends at school.”
Hannah’s four page book features a carefully coloured in map of the solar system, and a picture of Tim Peake on board the Space Station with his friend ‘Bob’.
